“It’s so pretty now and thank goodness it all works again!”
An existing lighting scheme was failing, both in terms of fittings used and the effect achieved. Security was a high priority for the client and so – unusually for such a large space (the garden is over 100m long) – the whole garden was included in the scheme. Using a variety of fittings gave the scheme interest and allayed the clients’ worries that it shouldn’t ‘look like a floodlit football pitch’. The wide variety of planting – including fruit trees, mature shrubs and seasonal flowers – were subtly picked out, with wire lengths allowing for the spike spots to be repositioned during the growing season and LED fittings reduced the need for maintenance.
