Working directly with the garden designer, we created a sophisticated lighting scheme to enhance a brand new garden design that would extend its use beyond sunset. It had been zoned for play, eating and planting. The lighting scheme fitted in with this layout – using several circuits so that the use remained flexible, with different effects achievable at the flick of a switch. Sympathetic security lighting was added, incorporating standalone movement sensors, and switching overrides allowed for more effective illumination immediately around the house when required. The stylish front garden lighting works on a timer as well as movement sensors – so the home looks welcoming, is practical for visitors after dark, and has an added security deterrent.
